Gerhard Grueter, Managing Director of Lawson Conner led a seminar on ‘The regulatory framework in the UK and Europe – options for Fintech Startups’ as part of FinTech Circle’s speaker series.

Presenting to a variety of industry professionals such as hedge funds, commercial banks, fund managers, Lawson Conner discussed the latest regulatory framework in the UK, the success factors and potential show stoppers for FinTech companies, how to satisfy regulatory demands and the different alternatives to enter the market (for example regulatory hosting, AIFM services, regulatory incubation).

This has been the third year in a row that Lawson Conner has spoken at FinTech Circle events. The world of FinTech is evolving quickly. While a few years ago many new ideas were around crowd funding and distribution of financial products, todays firms have become much more complex, finding new opportunities in trading, portfolio management, crypto technologies, and other technology related topics.

Lawson Conner has a dedicated launch team for FinTech companies headed by Andrew Frost, Director of Lawson Conner.
