The application and role summary:

Based in the London office, the Operations Associate will be assisting the Operations Director in the day to day running of a multi-dimensional middle to back office operations department of the business. This includes the areas of Client Service Delivery, Infrastructure, Billing, Finance and General Office Management. The candidate will help ensure an optimal full lifecycle of client service delivery, consistently promoting the continuous improvement of internal processes, productivity, service quality and customer satisfaction. The role will also be responsible to ensure company goals and objectives are set, measured and reported to senior executives on an ongoing basis. The individual will need to demonstrate process orientation, exposure to end-to-end service delivery cycles and a willingness to work within a fast paced, high performing organisation.

Responsibilities:

1. Work together with the Operations Director to set and manage KPIs

2. Have an excellent understanding of all internal processes and procedures required to satisfy client requirements

3. Assist the operations Director in solving business critical issues within Client Service Delivery, Infrastructure, Billing, Finance and General Office Management

4. Maintain the company KPI framework and co-ordinate with various departments to issue weekly performance reports to senior management

5. Ensure that all service agreements, client delivery promises and internal performance standards are met by the organisation

Requirements:

1. Demonstrated experience of working within the B2B professional/financial services industry

2. Ability to develop service delivery plans and continuously monitor activity to achieve objectives

3. Strong understanding of transactional processes coupled with the ability to identify workflow inefficiencies and deliver solutions to correct them

4. Ability to communicate effectively including report writing

5. Ability to handle multiple tasks with tight delivery schedules

6. Experience in effective implementation of operational projects

7. Strong sense of ownership and accountability

8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to set, organize and meet priorities

9. Process oriented and strong attention to detail

10. Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelors Degree (Business, Finance or Economics preferred)

2. 2-3 years of experience within a B2B financial services firm in a similar role

3. Demonstrable experience of system/process/procedural improvements

4. Experience with Microsoft office applications (especially Excel), comfort with custom database environments
